We know what you’re thinking. Box wine? Seriously?!? Here’s the thing; there’s nothing wrong with the box itself. In fact there are a lot of great things about it for wine. The packaging is lighter than glass and the ‘tap’ doesn’t let air back into the wine so it will still taste fresh 30 days after you crack it.  The only real problem with most box wines is the lack of quality of the juice that’s inside. Cue the Sant’ Evasio Barbera, with its juicy texture, fresh red berries and medium-bodied frame. (Raleigh Wine)
