“Delta” stands for “change” here at a winery that contributes $1 per bottle sold to environmental groups. Their 2021 Cabernet is a refreshing change of pace, too, delivering authentic Cali-Cab aromas, flavors and texture at a very fine value price. It's all Cabernet Sauvignon from around California and shows plump, juicy, blackberry and currant fruit with accents of dark coffee and cocoa powder and just a touch of tobacco at the end. The fine tannins give this food-friendly support, but it's certainly supple enough for party service. Lots of fresh fruit and dark mocha flavors linger nicely. Outstanding wine for the money.
