A suprisingly juicy Syrah-dominant blend, whole bunch macerated in small stainless steel tanks for 2-3 weeks, then pressed with a vertical wooden press. The wine is then aged in barrel for 10 months. Vineyard soils are a mix of sand and silica, well draining materials that lend a light juicy character to the wine that isn't often present in Syrah.
 
From the winemaker: "I have chosen to put birds on my labels, because there is a part of mystery about them. We do not understand everything. How they fly, why they do certain things. It is the same with wine, and that’s what makes it magical."
